GS: "LordErling" is your nick on xboxLive. What’s your kind and fav games on it?
My favorite Xbox 360 game is by far "Grand Theft Auto IV". I’ve clocked more hours in that game than most other games I’ve played! In my opinion, it’s pure digital art. The graphics, the story, the controls… it all ties together into what could be called "the perfect game".
GS: Did you remember the first videogame you played? Plz, your best 5 all of times.
I can’t remember the first one I ever played, no, but it must have been something like Space Invaders or something similar. My top 5 favorite games would probably be "The Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall", "Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge", "Civilization", "Flight Simulator X", and "EverQuest". All quality games that I will remember always!
GS: Photos and travels. A "loving couple" for you, isn’t it?
I love traveling, and it’s one of the things I get to do a lot of in my job. I also love photography, and combining the two is wonderful. I’m quite the amateur when it comes to photography, but I believe I’m a pro when it comes to traveling – so it evens out!
GS: Movies and music. What’s your choice about that? What kind?
I love pretty much everything both in terms of music and movies. But I guess you want favorites, so I’ll give you some. Music wise I’m a big fan of Michael Jackson, Simply Red, Pet Shop Boys, and U2. Yeah – pretty wide range of music genres there, but that’s the point – I can sit down and listen to everything. As for movies, my favorites are movies such as "Braveheart" and "The Mission". I love dramas set in the past.
GS: MMOs panorama will offer in the near future something completely different or the market will prefer a "WoW style" or a Ultima- sandbox-like over and over again?
I would like another Ultima Online. Personally I’m a much bigger fan of games without levels than games with them. That’s what we’re trying to do with The Secret World now, we’re making a game that feels quite sandbox and that has no levels and no classes. It’s quite a step away from games such as World of Warcraft.
GS: Do you have other hobbies or some social cares?
Besides traveling, you mean? Because that’s one of my huge passions. But of course, I love gaming and I love movies. I go to the cinema as often as I can. Another thing I love to do is go to the theater, and I’m a big fan of musicals. I’m very happy when I’m able to go to London and see a huge production in the West End!
GS: Do you play AoC? What race and class?
Indeed I do! I play a Stygian Necromancer!

GS: Il tuo nick su XboxLive è "LordErling". Quali sono i tuoi giochi preferiti, parlando di 360?
Il mio gioco preferito è di gran lunga Grand Theft Auto IV. Ho speso più ore a giocarlo che con tutti gli altri che io abbia mai provato! A mio avviso, è pura arte digitale. La grafica, la storia, i controlli: tutti questi elementi sono amalgamati insieme in quello che si potrebbe chiamare "il gioco perfetto".
GS: Ti ricordi il primo videogioco con cui hai avuto a che fare? Elenca i tuoi cinque preferiti di sempre.
Non riesco a ricordarmi esattamente il primo che ho giocato, proprio no, ma deve essere stato qualcosa di simile a Space Invaders. I miei cinque videogiochi preferiti potrebbero essere:
The Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall
Monkey Island 2 : LeChuck’s Revenge
Civilization
Flight Simulator X
EverQuest
Tutti giochi di qualità che ricorderò per sempre!
GS: Foto e viaggi. Una grande accoppiata per te, vero?
Mi piace viaggiare, ed è una delle cose che faccio più spesso per il mio lavoro. Amo molto anche la fotografia, quindi combinare le due cose insieme è meraviglioso. Penso di essere ancora un dilettante per quanto riguarda la fotografia, ma sicuramente sono un professionista se parliamo di viaggi!
GS: Musica e film: quali sono i tuoi gusti?
Amo molto entrambe le cose. Ma penso che tu voglia sapere i miei preferiti, quindi eccone alcuni: sono un grande fan di Michael Jackson, Simply Red, Pet Shop Boys e U2. Si, decisamente generi molto diversi, ma è prorpio questo il punto, posso sedermi ed ascoltare qualsiasi cosa. Per quanto riguarda i film, mi piacciono quelli storico-drammatici, come Braveheart o The Mission.
GS: A tuo parere il mercato dei MMOG riuscirà a offrire in tempi brevi una valida alternativa al classico formato "stile WoW" o alla ripetizione del sandox alla Ultima Online, oppure dovremo vederci ripetere queste formule all’infinito?
Mi piacerebbe un altro Ultima Online. Personalmente sono un fan dei giochi senza livelli piuttosto che di quelli che li hanno. E’ quello che stiamo provando a fare con "The Secret World", adesso. Un gioco che ha un feeling sandbox, senza classi né livelli, è sicuramente qualcosa che si allontana dal classico modello alla World Of Warcraft.
GS: Hai altri hobby o impegni sociali?
A parte i viaggi intendi? Perchè quelli sono la mia grande passione. Comunque amo i giochi e il cinema, ci vado il più spesso possibile. Un’altra cosa che mi piace è andare a teatro, sono un grande amante dei musical. Sono molto felice quando ho l’opportunità di andare a Londra e vedere le grandi produzioni del West End.
GS: Giochi a AoC? Che razza e classe?
Certo che ci gioco! Ho un negromante stigiano!
