Emmy 2023, tutte le nominations

L’Academy of Television Arts & Sciences ha annunciato la lista completa delle nominations agli Emmy Awards 2023, i premi assegnati ai migliori protagonisti della televisione statunitense, elenco tra cui svetta indiscutibilmente HBO con i suoi Succession, The Last of Us e The White Lotus, fortunati a tal punto da accaparrarsi rispettivamente 27, 24 e 23 nominations in totale.

Ottimi risultati anche per la stagione finale di Ted Lasso, in grado di piazzarsi al quarto posto tra le produzioni più nominate ottenendo 21 chances di portare a casa un premio.

L’annuncio dei nominati agli Emmy 2023 da parte dell’attrice Yvette Nicole Brown è stato preceduto da un breve discorso di Frank Scherma, capo dell’Academy, che ha espresso la sua vicinanza a tutti gli artisti della WGA impegnati nel lungo sciopero che sta proseguendo da mesi, con la speranza che possano trovare al più presto un punto di incontro risolutivo con AMPTP.

Un estratto del discorso:

Onoriamo e supportiamo pienamente quella parte dell’industria televisiva che si impegna per mantenere alta la bandiera dell’equità nel settore.

Lo sciopero, di estrema rilevanza nel panorama di Hollywood e di cui non è ancora possibile vedere la fine, ha già portato allo stop forzato o al rallentamento di alcune tra le più importanti produzioni televisive e cinematografiche statunitensi.
