Nell’ambito delle celebrazioni del Ghostbusters Day, Sony Pictures VR ha annunciato oggi che il suo prossimo titolo Ghostbusters VR arriverà su PlayStation VR2, oltre che sul Quest 2.
Il gioco è stato annunciato lo scorso aprile durante il Meta Quest Gaming Showcase, dove per la prima volta è stato rivelato l’arrivo sul Meta Quest 2. nDreams, lo studio dietro Far Cry VR: Dive Into Insanity e Phantom: Covert Opps, sta sviluppando il titolo VR.

Ambientato a San Francisco, i giocatori avranno l’opportunità di gestire la propria attività di acchiappa fantasmi. Il gioco è un adventure cooperatico, massimo 4 giocaotri. Sony Picture VR ha precedentemente confermato che il gioco è ambientato “nei giorni nostri e forse leggermente nel futuro”, ma il gioco non è un seguito diretto di nessuno dei film di Ghostbusters, incluso Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
Ghostbusters VR è l’ultimo gioco a essere annunciato per la periferica di Sony, PlayStation VR2. La scorsa settimana Sony ha avuto uno stato di gioco di circa 30 minuti in cui è stato confermato che diversi giochi erano in fase di sviluppo per il visore, incluso il supporto VR per Resident Evil Village e uno sguardo esteso a Horizon: Call of the Mountain. Altri giochi confermati in fase di sviluppo per PSVR2 includono Among Us VR e No Man’s Sky.
Come la PlayStation VR2, Ghostbusters VR al momento non ha una data di uscita.
