Final Fantasy XI - Ampliamento Fama

La fama in Final Fantasy XI indica la popolarità che il personaggio gode tra la gente di vana’diel. Questa reputazione, in base al suo livello, può darti la possibilità di accedere a nuove quest del gioco. L’unico modo per alzare il livello di fama è completando Quest (o ripetendo quelle che lo consenstono). In Vana’diel la popolarità non è totale, nel senso che puoi essere famoso in alcune città e sconosciuto in altre, i luoghi nei quali è possibile alzare la propria reputazione sono San d’Oria, Bastok, Windurst, Jeuno, Kazham, Norg e Rabao.
Alcune di queste località hanno caratteristiche peculiari che valutano anche la fama acquisita in altri posti, in quanto le reputazioni sono collegate nel modo descritto nella tabella seguente:

Il livello massimo di fama raggiungibile è 9, qui di seguito verranno riportate alcune tecniche per alzarla più facilmente, tramite lo sfruttamento di alcune quest ripetibili.

WINDURST

A Discerning Eye – La quest è ripetibile. Ognuna delle 3 nazioni ha una di queste quest (anche Kazham, che però conta come Windurst), ma per attivarle ti servirà l’ airship pass. Reward: 500 gil.

Chocobilius – Papaka Grass x1. Richiede una papaka grass che è raramente droppata dai dhalmels in Tahrongi Canyon/Buburimu Peninsula, o può essere trovato facendo digging in Tahrogi Canyon. L’oggetto è recuperabile anche in AH. Reward: 1500 gil.

Creepy Crawlies – Crawler Calculus x3 o Silk Thread x3. La quest è ripetibile. Crawler Calculi sono droppati abbastanza spesso dai crawlers in East/West Sarutabaruta. L’oggetto è recuperabile anche in AH. Reward: 600 gil.

Curses, Foiled Again – Bomb Ash x1, Bone Chip x2. Shantotto vuole una Bomb Ash e due Bone Chips. Qualsiasi nemico di tipo bomba droppa la bomb ash, and qualsiasi mostro di tipo scheletro droppa i bone chips, che possono essere trovate facendo digging o scavando in Tahrongi Canyon. Gli oggetti è recuperabile anche in AH. Reward: Brass Rod.

Flower Child – Lilac x1. I Lilacs possono essere comprati in Upper Jeuno per 70 gil o in AH. Reward: Uscita in ogni zona di Windurst dalla tua mog house.

Glyph Anger – Nessun oggetto richiesto. Abbastanza semplice, devi solo uscire da una delle Horutoto Towers a East Sarutabaruta e tornarci. Nessun costo, semplice quest con una buona ricompensa.
Reward: Map of the Horutoto Ruins.

In a Pickle – Smooth Stone (rare/EX) x1. La quest è ripetibile. Otterrai spesso una smooth stone ogni volta che combatterai i crawler in Sarutabaruta. Spesso la smooth stone verra rifiutata, quindi bisogna provare più di una volta. Reward: Bone Hairpin, e 200 gil per ogni volta che la si ripete.

Inspector’s Gadget – Saruta Cotton x4. I saruta cotton sonodroppati dai Pygmaiois in Tahrongi Canyon, o possono essere rubati dai Pygmaiois nel canyonn o dalle Mandragoras in Sarutabaruta. Reward: Heko Obi

Know one’s Onions – Wild Onion x4. I wild onion sono droppati dai goblins in Sarutabaruta o Horutoto Ruins. Reward: Scroll of Blaze Spikes.

Making The Grade – Test Anwers x1. Il Test Answers si può comprare nell’ AH o facendosela droppare dai Wendigos in Horutoto Ruins. Reward: Scroll of Aspir.

Mandragora-Mad – Four-leaf Mandragora Bud (rare/EX) x1 o Yuhtunga Sulfur (rare/EX) x1 o Cornette x1 o Three-leaf Mandragora Bud (rare/EX) o Snobby Letter (rare/EX). La quest è ripetibile, ma bisogna zonare per riattivare la quest. Tu puoi compare i Cornettes all’ Harmodio’s Music Shop in Bastok. Mentre i yuhtunga sulfurs sono droppati dai Pygmaiois in Tahrongi Canyon, i four-leaf buds invece dai Pygmaiois in Tahrongi o Mandragoras in Sarutabaruta, e infine i Cornettes sono droppati dalle Mandragoras in Sarutabaruta. Gli altri due sono un po più difficili: il three-leaf bud viene droppato dalle yuhtunga mandragoras nella giungla di Kazham mentre le snobby letter sono droppate dalle mandragoras in Boyahda Tree. Reward: 120 gil (4-leaf bud), 250 gil (sulfur), 200 gil (cornette), 1200 gil (3-leaf bud), 5500 gil (letter).

Paying Lip Service – Beehive Chip x3 o Remi Shell x2. La quest è ripetibile. I Beehive chips sono droppati frequentemente delle api, mentre i remi shells sono droppati dai crabs in Sarutabaruta. Reward: 150 gil (beehive chips), 200 gil (remi shells).

Something Fishy – Bastore Sardine x1. La quest è ripetibile, ma devi zonare per ripeterla. Reward: 70 gil.

Teacher’s Pet – Two-leaf Mandragora Bud (rare/EX) x1 e Bird Feather x1. La quest è ripetibile. I 2-leaf buds sono spesso droppate dalle Mandragoras in Sarutabaruta and Pygmaiois in Tahrongi, mentre i bird feathers sono droppati da qualsiasi mostro di tipo uccello. Reward: 250 gil.

The All-New C-2000 – Two-leaf Mandragora Bud (rare/EX) x1 e Rabbit Hide x1 e Insect Wing x1. La quest è ripetibile. I 2-leaf buds sono droppati dalle mandragoras in Sarutabaruta and Tahrongi, Rabbit Hides da qualsiasi mostro di tipo coniglio e insect wings da qualsiasi mostro di tipo insetto. Reward: 200 gil.

The Postman Always K.O.s Twice – Muddy Bartab (rare/EX) e/o Torn Epistle (rare/EX) e/o Damp Envelope (rare/EX) e/o Odd Postcard (rare/EX). La quest è ripetibile. Questi oggetti sono generalmente droppati dai rarabs in Sarutabaruta e Tahrongi. Reward: 50 gil (un oggetto), 150 gil (due oggetti), 250 gil (3 oggetti), 500 gil (4 oggetti).

To Bee Or Not To Bee? – Honey x5. Le Honey si possono comprare in AH oppure facendoseli droppare da qualunque ape. Reward: Mulsum x3

Truth, Justice and Onion Way – Rarab Tail x1. La Rarab Tail puo esere droppata dai bumblebees o puoi comprarla in AH o alla Cooking Guild. Reward: Justice Badge.

BASTOK

A Flash in the Pan – Flint Stone x4. La quest è ripetibile. Flint stones sono droppate dai mostri di tipo verme, possono essere minate, facendo digging o comprate all’ AH. Reward: 100 gil.

A Foreman’s Best Friend – Dog Collar (rare) x1. I Dog collars sono droppati dagli undead hounds di North Gustaberg oppure essere comprati all’ AH. Reward: Map of the Gusgen Mines.

A lady’s Heart – Amaryllis x1. Puoi comprare le amaryllis al negozio M&P in Upper Jeuno per circa 70 gil o in AH. Reward: Uscita in ogni zona di Bastok dalla tua mog house.

Breaking Stones – Dangruf Stone (rare/EX) x1. La quest è ripetibile. Devi andare a Dangruf Wadi in una giornata di sole e trovare una certa pietra. Reward: 400 gil.

Brygid, the Stylistr – Robe x1 e Bronze Subligar x1. Puoi comprare il Robe e i Bronze Subligar in qualsiasi negozio di equipaggiamento o in AH, una volta comprati equipaggiali e parla all’ NPC per finire la quest. Reward: Gloves.

Buckets of Gold – Rusty Bucket x5. La quest è ripetibile. I rusty bucket puoi pescarli o comprarli in AH. Reward: 300 gil.

Drachenfallst – Canteen of Drachenfall Water (rare/EX) x1. Reward: 2000 gil.

Fallen Comrades– Silver Name Tag (rare) x1. La quest è ripetibile. La tag si puo comprare in AH o farsela droppare dai Quadavs in Palborough. Reward: 550 gil.

Forever to Hold– Brass Hairpin x1. L’Hairpin si può craftare o comprare nei bazaar o in AH. Reward: 300 gil.

Per controllare il proprio livello di fama è sufficiente recarsi da un npc (per ogni città) che risponderà in base alla reputazione che hai in quel luogo.

BASTOK: NPC di nome Flaco, Port Bastok E-6, davanti allo Steaming Sheep Restaurant.
Livello 1 = [Nome]? What is that, some kind of snail? Oh, that’s your name.You must be a rookie adventurer, right?
ITA: [Nome]? Che sarebbe, un tipo di lumaca? Ah, è il tuo nome. Sei un avventuriero principiante, vero?

Livello 2 = [Nome]? Hmm… sounds familiar. Who was it again? Oh. Well uh… not many people know who you are, but if you work hard enough, word will get around about
your good deeds.

Livello 3 = Oh, you’re [Nome]. Yeah, I’ve heard of you. Yo’re not doing too bad for an adventurer. Keep working hard, and the people of Bastok will come to recognize your efforts.

Livello 4 = Hello there, [Nome]. Quite a few people are talking about the things you’ve done for Bastok. People are starting to talk about you. Keep up on
doing whatever you’re doing!

Livello 1 = Hmm… [Nome], you say? No, never heard that name. Do not expect me to learn the name of every recruit! Do good for the kingodom and her people,
and they shall come to know you. Once you have their trust, they will request your help more readly. Just keep your head down, and your day shall come.
